About Blue Canoe Theatrical Productions inc.

Blue Canoe Theatrical Productions inc. is a community theatre company operating in the areas of Kingston and Gananoque. We strive to create the opportunity for youth, young adults and students from the ages of 13-30 to explore the arts. Blue Canoe Theatrical Productions inc. produces theatre in which local youths participate both on and off stage to create a professional and positive atmosphere for both those involved in productions and those who are patrons of the arts.

The goal of Blue Canoe Theatrical Productions inc. is to give youth the opportunity to expand their roles both on and off stage in theatre to better themselves for a life in the arts. Blue Canoe is an unregistered not for profit organization. All finances through ticket sales and other fund raisers are put towards theatre productions.

Blue Canoe selects productions, both musicals and plays, that are both challenging and interesting to youths from High School to University or those who have just graduated. Each season, Blue Canoe strives to bring audiences shows that they have yet to see on local stages, productions that have yet to debut in Kingston and the surrounding areas. All productions are mandated to be affordable theatre, reaching a wide range of audiences.
